Retrofit Hybrids
We have over the years performed a number of retrofits to existing engines. These have proven time consuming and costly. It is also difficult to make retrofits successful at a remote location. We have therefore stopped offering retrofit kits for individual customers.
The advised method to retrofit an existing craft is to purchase a complete hybrid engine.You can then sell on the old engine to fund part of the cost (I am afraid we don't take the old engines in part exchange). We can supply complete hybrids based on Beta Marine or Yanmar engines from 25hp up to 250hp. See Seagoing Hybrids, Narrowboat or BroadBeam sections for further details.
